Also referred as IT, this profession has many field like tech support, web design, programming, software development and database.
When applying for job, a lot of Big IT companies look for different skills when hiring. Other look for programmer who is specialist in language and the other might look for general skills of applicant. Like ability to communicate and to manage high projects,
As an IT professional you must know what are the important skills you need to improve to have a better and successful career . Based on my research the following are the 7 most important skills that IT professional must have.

1. Communication
Being an IT you need to have a good communication especially when you work in a big company. Communicating with client is part of IT activity. When explaining, proposing projects, and discussing communication skill is a big factor.


2. Time Management
When developing software’s, applications and systems IT professionals should be good when managing time. IT professional should be able to know how long a project should take and manage their time on daily, weekly and monthly project schedules.


3. Problem Solving
IT professionals should be good at solving problem, Able to identify problems and determine the cause and last giving a best solution.


4. Project management
Big company like software company hire an IT manager to ensure that all projects that they working managed properly in time, budget and resources to implement quality software.


5. Coding
And the last is coding as an IT professional it is common to have a skills in coding or ability to understand and write code . it requires critical and logical thinking. IT professionals should have basic knowledge on html and c++.


6. Ability to work in teams
Most of IT projects are teamwork to put a combine efforts of every member which can possibly result a success projects. Being working in team you should also to put leadership skills to properly manage the team and also the projects.



7. Critical Thinking
It professional tend to be a problem solver, that also requires high thinking skills for business processes and management. Critical thinking skills and analytical skills may must be applied on decision making, solving and identifying problems and also in logics in programming.


8. Innovation and Collaboration
One part of IT professional job is innovate technologies as the world goes older. Innovation and collaboration are the best key to success of every IT professionals. Innovation occurs when one business has problems that must be solved with improvement and reliability.
